A Message From Jeff
Dear Friends,
Every year, I take a year-end vacation and down time to reflect on what I have accomplished and what I plan to accomplish the following year. I do this both personally and professionally, and I even encourage others on our team at EC to do it as well. We look at what we achieved, what we want to be acknowledged for, and what was the biggest learning or new skill we developed this year.
It seems we always are looking ahead of where we are or what we want to accomplish, or reflecting back on what we did not accomplish, and I feel it is always important to acknowledge where we are now. So I ask you, as I have asked myself:
What were your top three biggest wins for 2006?
What do you want to be acknowledged for?
Who do you want to acknowledge for helping you this year?
What are the top 50 things that you accomplished this year? Yes, at least 50.
What's different about you? How did you raise your personal game this year?
What are you most proud of?
What is the favorite new skill you acquired this year?
What do you plan to do to celebrate your accomplishments? (e.g., schedule a three-day golf/spa vacation, buy that watch I had my eye on, buy a new BMW)
Happy holidays and best wishes for continued growth and success in 2007 from all of us at Executive Connections!
