Organizational/Operational Audits
Executive Connections LLC conducted an organizational review of key personnel working within an integrated marketing communications firm to identify strengths and weaknesses related to their ability to carry out the company’s strategic business plan. This audit led to the replacement of several members of the senior leadership team.

Strategic Planning
Executive Connections LLC assisted a new group, within a major global advertising agency, to facilitate a strategic planning process involving between four-to-six senior leaders, with the goal of developing a vision, mission, strategic positioning, and 2004 goals and objectives for this business unit. This process yielded a shared vision, commitment to the 2004 budget, a new strategic positioning, and individual goals for each executive.

Salary/Compensation Surveys
Executive Connections LLC assisted a life insurance client in conducting a compensation survey, including base salaries and incentive compensation targets, for various marketing positions in the VP- and SVP-compensation levels. This survey is being utilized to upgrade and change the salary and incentive bands for these levels.

Board Searches
Executive Connections LLC was hired by a non-profit organization to recruit two new Board members to fill vacant roles. We identified outstanding industry leaders among the next generation of up-and-coming young performers with the aim of helping the organization to become more relevant to the next generation of talent within their category.

Unbundled Search Services
Executive Connections LLC assisted various clients, by providing unbundled search consulting efforts, to identify the key executives responsible for specific marketing positions in selected direct competitors. In some instances, we have provided services only involving our personal assessment of candidates identified by the client, or have performed reference checks on candidates identified internally. In other cases, we have been asked to provide only preliminary candidate research and turn this information over to internal executive staffing organizations.
